St Peters sits north of Norwood; we are just south of it. The whole trip stays inside the inner east.
From St Peters the natural route is south through Stepney or Evandale onto The Parade, then west to Fullarton Road and south again — or straight down Portrush Road and right onto Kensington Road if you are coming from the eastern side. Either way it is under ten minutes outside peak hour.
St Peters, like Norwood, is in the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters; Rose Park is in the City of Burnside. Both sit about the same distance from the city, three kilometres or so, on the inner-eastern side of the parklands.
We are on the corner of Fullarton Road and Alexandra Avenue, so you arrive off a residential street rather than pulling up on a main road.
We are at Unit 12, The Parks, 154 Fullarton Road, Rose Park SA 5067 — Unit 12, The Parks, on the corner of Fullarton Road and Alexandra Avenue. There is two-hour free street parking on Alexandra Avenue and Grant Avenue, immediately beside the building, and the parklands are a short walk away if you would rather arrive early and sit somewhere quiet first.
The consulting suites are on the first floor, up one flight of stairs. There is no lift. If a flight of stairs is not manageable for you, a Zoom or telephone appointment is likely to suit you better — every practitioner here offers both, and the Medicare rebate is the same.
You will get written directions by email and text before your appointment, so you are not relying on this page on the day.
Payneham Road and The Parade both carry frequent city-bound services, and the Adelaide Metro journey planner will give you the connection through to Kensington Road if you enter 154 Fullarton Road, Rose Park.
Everyone who practises at OneBodyMind runs their own independent practice. They are registered psychologists and accredited mental health social workers, they work from therapies that have been tested, and they set their own hours and fees. You choose the practitioner rather than being allocated one.
Read the practitioner profiles and start with whoever you would find it easiest to begin with. If the first person is not the right fit, that is ordinary rather than a failure — say so and ask to be pointed elsewhere.
You can also start from what you are looking for rather than from a name: we set out what we help with and the types of therapy used here in plain language.
A standard consultation is between $260 and $290 before any rebate. With a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, Medicare covers ten individual sessions a calendar year and most people are between about $130 and $170 out of pocket each time. You do not need a referral to book — it only affects the rebate.
We lodge the Medicare claim for you at the time of the appointment. There is more detail on what a session costs, Medicare and referrals and your first appointment.

Yes. A referral and a Mental Health Treatment Plan only affect the Medicare rebate, not whether you can book.
